Domaine des Grandes Esperances
Domaine des Grandes Espérances is located in the Touraine appellation within France's Loire Valley, a region whose wines were once cherished by French royalty. The estate belongs to the renowned local group Saget La Perriere, a powerful and consistently reliable producer. The domaine has already obtained both Ecocert organic certification and Terra Vitis sustainable certification.
The winery's style is as straightforward and approachable as its labels—designed to let drinkers enjoy pure, unburdened pleasure with vibrant fruit aromas and a smooth, silky texture. The vineyard soils are rich in flint stone, and the wines are fermented or aged in neutral terracotta amphorae, old oak barrels, and stainless steel tanks, preserving the most authentic fruit expression and terroir character. Each year, the estate consistently receives scores around 90 points from Decanter, Hachette, and RVF (Revue du Vin de France), and has been continuously included in the Bettane + Desseauve guide for many years.

Taste : Pale orange color, the Orange Genius develops an intense nose of ripe fruits with notes of Angostura, plants and infused citrus. Somewhat disconcerting, the palate with peel of bitter orange aromas shows a finish slightly tight and tannic.
