In 1973, three brothers, Joel, Jean_Pierre, and Philippe Vilain, created this domaine from scratch. Starting in 2013, the next generation, Loic and Yannick Vilain, have continued their work, with vineyards in five towns of the Chablis region in the appellations of Chablis, Petit Chablis, and Chablis Premier Cru. Since 2018, they have also been actively involved in building a domaine in the Auxerrois region, producing a range of still whites and a cremant. The combination of some necessary measures and investments allow them gain the HVE 3 standard in spring 2020, which is a guarantee of security and quality for the customers.
