In 2007,Pierre Gaillard , the famous winemaker in Rhone Valley, seduced by the charm of the Cévennes, its scrubland and the many hillsides that hide,bought the whole estate of Cottebrune in Faugères.
In recent years, Pierre-Antoine, his son, has gradually taken over. Driven by the same desire to express the terroirs as faithfully as possible, he produces authentic wines.
The wines of Cottebrune are decidedly Mediterranean with accents of scrubland. We still find the Gaillard paw and this mineral weft brought by the shale.
