Domaine Perraud
The Domaine Perraud is ideally situated in the village of La-Roche-Vineuse, a stone’s throw from the famous rocky outcrops of Solutré and Vergisson. In 2005, Jean-Christophe realised his childhood dream by creating the Domaine on family-owned vineyards which go back four generations.
A passion for excellence guides the work of this Domaine. And exceptional soils or ”terroirs” enable it to offer a large selection of dry and fruity wines of varying complexity to please every palate!
They limit the use of treatments and aim to produce fully organic wines in the near future. In the meantime, they cultivate the soils in such a way as to preserve the very best expression of our various “terroirs”.
Each wine is treated with care and attention with nothing added to distract from the full expression of the various grape varieties and the soils in which they grow.
Whether they mature in stainless steel vats or oak barrels, the wines express very different notes and flavours unique to each vintage.
Region :Bourgogne
Varietal :Chardonnay
Tasting Notes : Bright yellow in colour with perfumed white flowers and stone fruit on the nose. The palate is medium to full bodied, with lively citrus acidity and flavours of fruit salad including melon, peach and a hint of pineapple. The finish is mineral and long with the fresh acidity balancing the full fruit nicely.
