Long Ting
Longting Winery is located in Penglai, Shandong, a place known as a terrestrial paradise, and was established in 2009 as a heritage-driven Chinese boutique winery. Upholding the core philosophy of "respecting nature, craftsmanship, enjoying life, and passing on beauty," Longting follows the principle of harmony among heaven, earth, and humanity to craft ecological wines with distinct coastal terroir characteristics.
The winery practices natural farming centered on soil health, incorporating selective biodynamic methods. It avoids chemical pesticides and fertilizers, maintains natural ground cover, and adopts no-till farming to promote biodiversity. The estate features year-round ecological integration, commonly seen with blooming flowers and flocks of birds. Sunlight, sandy soil, and the ocean create a temperate, seasonally distinct climate ideal for growing high-quality wine grapes.
Architecturally designed as a French-style chateau, the winery overlooks green waters to the east and the vast sea to the north, nestled within rolling vineyards. Covering a total area of 68 hectares, with 34 hectares dedicated to vineyards, the estate primarily cultivates Cabernet Franc, Marselan, Petit Manseng, and Chardonnay, producing 50,000 bottles of wine annually.
