CHATEAU LA NERTHE
One of the great names of Chateauneuf ,quoted in nineteenth century as being a separate and slightly better wines than chateauneuf itself. All 13 authorised varieties are planted in it vineyards. Director Alain Dugas combines scientific rigour with a deep understanding of his vineyard ,and the wines have been gaining steadily in depth and sophistication .
La Nerthe successfully attains complete ripeness without excessive alcohol . Very elegant.
Taste:Light green color with golden highlights. The nose is fresh, tense, very pleasant on citrus fruits, orange blossom and yellow grapefruit aromas. The palate is crystalline, with exotic notes and white flowers. The wine is perfectly balanced with beautiful finesse and a surprising minerality
