DOMAINE MAURICE GRISS

The DOMAINE MAURICE GRISS, which has been certified organic since 2020 ,is a female estate: Josiane Griss and Marion Strosser exploit 8.5 ha of vines located on the outskirts of Ammerschwihr with a great diversity of soils.  It exploits the prestigious terroir of Kaefferkopf which is entitled to the Alsace Grand Cru appellation as well as the locality Sonnenberg.

Taste: The "Rose de Griss" is a maceration wine made with two varieties of grapes : Gewurztraminer and Pinot Gris. He's got a pretty orange colour. The nose evokes the gewurztraminer, spicy and floral. The mouth is structured with tannins and nice bitters. It's a gastronomic wine.
